Istanbul will once again host one of the finals of the UEFA organizations.
In the UEFA Champions League final, which will be played at Istanbul Atatürk Olympic Stadium on May 29, two British teams will face Manchester City and Chelsea.

Shakhtar Donetsk-Werder Bremen 2009 UEFA Cup Final
The match, which is the 51st final game in the history of the UEFA Cup, was played between Ukraine’s Shakhtar Donetsk and Germany’s SV Werder Bremen at Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium on May 20, 2009.
Shakhtar Donetsk, who got ahead with the goal he found in the extra minutes of the match, whose normal time ended 1-1, became the owner of the cup.

Two British teams faced Liverpool and Chelsea at Istanbul Vodafone Park.
Liverpool won the UEFA Super Cup by outlining Chelsea 5-4 on penalties in the match, whose regular time was 1-1 and the overtime period was completed 2-2.

It was played between England’s Liverpool and Italy’s Milan teams on 25 May 2005 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
